Refund & Return Policy
At Los Angeles Patch Co., we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our custom patches. Because our products are custom-manufactured to your unique specifications, our return policy differs from a traditional retail store.
Please read the following terms carefully before placing your order.
1. The “Custom Goods” Policy
Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final.
Because these items are manufactured with your specific logo, colors, and text, they cannot be resold or reused. Therefore, we do not offer refunds or accept returns for “change of mind,” customer-ordered mistakes, or if you no longer require the items.
2. The Mock-Up Approval Process
Before production begins, we provide a digital mock-up (proof) for your approval.
- Customer Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to check for spelling, color accuracy, and design placement during the proofing stage.
- Final Approval: Once a mock-up is approved by the customer, Los Angeles Patch Co. is not responsible for any errors present in the original artwork or the approved proof.
3. Exceptions: Defective or Incorrect Items
We stand behind our work. We will offer a replacement or a refund only under the following specific circumstances:
- Manufacturing Defects: The product arrives with physical damage or structural defects (e.g., unraveling threads, broken PVC).
- Proof Mismatch: The final product differs significantly and objectively from the digital mock-up that you approved.
- Incorrect Quantity: You received fewer items than you ordered.
4. How to File a Claim
If your order is defective or incorrect, you must contact us within 14 days of receiving your shipment.
- Email us: Send an email to [email protected] with your order number in the subject line.
- Provide Evidence: Include clear, high-resolution photos of the defect or the discrepancy.
- Review: Our quality control team will review your claim within 2-3 business days.
5. Resolution Options
If a claim is validated, we will, at our discretion:
- Remake the Order: We will put your order back into production at no cost to you and ship the corrected items via our standard shipping method.
- Partial or Full Refund: If a remake is not possible or cannot be completed in time for your event, we may issue a refund to the original payment method.
6. Shipping Costs
If we require the defective items to be returned for inspection, Los Angeles Patch Co. will provide a prepaid shipping label.
Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.
7. Color Matching Disclaimer
Please note that colors may vary slightly between computer monitors (RGB) and physical materials (Thread/PVC/Leather). While we strive for 100% accuracy using Pantone color matching, minor variations in shade are a standard part of the textile manufacturing process and are not considered a defect.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders can be canceled for a full refund only before the physical manufacturing process has begun. If digitizing or mold-making has already occurred, a cancellation fee may apply to cover the labor and materials already used.
